Aimée

FOUNDER & CO-DIRECTOR
Recommended Book - MIND & ME by sunita chawdhary

Aimée Felone is Managing Director of Knights Of, winner of Children’s Publisher of the Year at the British Book Awards 2022. She founded and runs the multi award-winning inclusive publisher, and is focused on bringing underrepresented voices to the forefront of commercial children’s publishing. With a team led by women of colour, and an unwavering focus on their intended readership for each book, Knights Of works to engage with gatekeepers across the industry, including booksellers, teachers and librarians, and supports non-traditional community spaces with events, outreach, marketing and partnerships.

Jasmina

CO-DIRECTOR
Recommended Book - The most secret memory of men by Mohamed Mbougar Sarr

Jasmina Bidé is Co-Director of Round Table Books CIC and a Senior Policy Advisor with experience in trade, energy and education policy. She loves literature and public policy equally, if that’s at all possible.

Of mixed Beninoise and Canadian heritage, Jasmina grew up in the Kingdom of eSwatini before moving to London. She reads across English and French, and loves translated literature in all forms.

Recommended Book - Permafrost by Eva Balthazar

Meera Ghanshamdas is the Co-Director of Round Table Books CIC, an inclusion-led bookshop providing books for both children and adults, and producing transformative workshops and events. The bookshop is based in the heart of Brixton. 

She was born in Hong Kong, and lived in the Philippines, South Africa and India before moving to London at the age of twenty.
