Nature-loving Timi is unsettled by the arrival of a new sibling and turns to tending a tree growing in his local library. But there is something magical about the tree and it is growing FAST… and the library is going to close. Can Timi save the library and his tree, and maybe bring his community closer together along the way? A charming early reader for ages 5-8, filled with black-and-white illustrations.

Polly Ho-Yen used to be a primary school teacher in London and, while she was teaching there, she used to get up very early in the morning to write stories. The first of those stories is BOY IN THE TOWER. Her books have been shortlisted for, among others awards, the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the Blue Peter Book Award. She's still writing stories and though she doesn't teach now, she still visits schools... only now they're all over the country. She lives in Bristol with her husband and daughter.

Sojung Kim-McCarthy is an award-winning illustrator who loves drawing children in all shapes, sizes and colours. She worked as a designer for a children's magazine as well as an art and design educator in Korea. After moving to Bournemouth to study illustration, she stayed in the seaside town and has been drawing and writing stories of children who feel a little bit different from other people. Sojung loves growing plants from seeds she found in her fruits, and her favourite plant in her windowsill garden at the moment is an avocado tree.
